SARS-CoV-2/Flu A&B/RSV/AdV Antigen Combo Rapid Test

【INTENDED USE】

The test is a rapid colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay for the in vitro qualitative detection of the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), the influenza A virus (FluA), the influenza B (FluB), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and adenovirus (AdV) antigen in human nasopharyngeal swab, oropharyngeal swab, nasal swab, and saliva samples from individuals suspected of respiratory viral infection.

In the acute phase of infection, antigens are usually detectable in upper respiratory tract specimens. The rapid diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2/FluA&B/RSV/AdV infection will help medical professionals treat patients and control the disease more effectively. The Combo test is intended for the detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2, Flu A, Flu B, RSV and AdV infections. The test is designed for professional use only.

The novel coronaviruses (SARS-CoV-2) belong to the β genus. COVID-19 is an acute respiratory infectious disease. People are generally susceptible. Currently, the patients infected by the novel coronavirus are the main source of infection; asymptomatic infected people can also be an infectious source. Based on the current epidemiological investigation, the incubation period is 1 to 14days, mostly 3 to 7 days. The main manifestations include fever, fatigue and dry cough. Nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, myalgia and diarrhea are found in a few cases.

Influenza is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It may have mild to severe symptoms. Serious outcomes of influenza infection can result in hospitalization or even death. Some patients, such as older people, young children, and

people with certain background health problems, are at high risk of serious complications.

The respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is the most common cause of bronchiolitis and pneumonia among infants and children under 1 year of age. RSV is spread from respiratory secretions through close contact with infected persons or contact with contaminated surfaces or objects.

Symptoms of respiratory illness caused by adenovirus infection range from the common cold syndrome to pneumonia and bronchitis. Patients with compromised immune systems are especially susceptible to severe complications.
